Hi, I’m cait

I am a counsellor, creativity coach, and published fiction author. I have more than 30 years’ experience working in the corporate sector across a range of industries.

My counselling work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for each person’s individual story. I bring together my professional training, creative insight, and broad life experience to support clients through periods of change, uncertainty, growth, and self-discovery.

I aim to create a thoughtful, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and are able to explore their experiences openly and without judgment.

Over the course of my life I have faced intense periods of grief and loss, including the loss of my older brother to suicide.

Having worked in demanding professional environments, I understand the pressures that many people face — including burnout, stress, and loss of purpose. My own challenges have included balancing career achievement with a need for deeper meaning. I have successfully used creative practices to recover from work-related burnout, and in 2019 I published my first novel with Harper Collins.
